In addition to generating potential customers on a daily basis, Ask your pro (AyourP) now offers "Paid Questions", allowing the programmatic redistribution of a part of its advertising revenues to professionals available through its platform.

TL;DR Here's what you need to do to get more "paid Questions":

1) provide patients with satisfatory answers/interventions;

2) turn more of your answers into publications

3) regularly accept non-paid consultation requests

4) share your posts on social media.

AyourP has grown very strongly since November 2020, both in terms of the number of patients who connect to it on a daily basis and in terms of adding advertising customers who reach health professionals using the platform. The «Paid Questions» feature allows the redistribution of a part of AyourP advertising revenue to the professionals using its service.

AyourP also signs service agreements with public organizations to use a redirection feature from Ask your Pro. In practical terms, public sector health workers can redirect consultation requests requiring the expertise of a professional not immediately available in their organization by tapping the network of professionals using AyourP. These consultation requests are displayed in Opportunities as if they are directly from the public platform available at and thus can be accessible as «paid questions».

Programmatic Redistribution Through Opportunities

All professionals using AyourP have access to a constant stream of consultation requests in a dedicated section of the platform, called “Opportunities”. Opportunities are designed to be selected by professional who feel like a given patient could become one of their clients.

Each consultation request initiated by a patient is categorized in real time by a proprietary algorithm which was trained with all consultation requests received through the platform since 2016. This categorization allows professionals to filter consultation requests according to several criteria (distance separating the professional and the patient, age, gender, main subject(s) of the consultation request (e.g.: mental health), etc.).

The programmatic redistribution is made possible thanks to a new algorithm which analyzes the performance of each care team using AyourP. This algorithm, based on value-based care concepts, will display a different number of “paid questions” to each team, based on the following performance criteria (in order of importance):

  1. Patient's satisfaction;
  2. Publishing rate;
  3. Regular responses to non-paid questions;
  4. Reach of publications.

1. Patient satisfaction is identified through post-teleconsultation surveys

Since January 2020, every patient who initiates a request for a consultation on AyourP receives, within days of their teleconsultation with a professional, a follow-up e-mail allowing to collect several information of interest to the team who responded to the request, including the satisfaction rate using a scale from 0 to 10.

This data is made available to all care teams on their Analytics dashboard :

Care teams with a high patient satisfaction rating, defined as a Net Promoter Score (NPS) greater than 60, will see the number of “Paid Questions” increase in proportion to the NPS in the “Opportunities” section.

At the time of launching this feature in June 2021, 55% of care teams had an NPS of more than 60%.

2. Publication rate is identified by comparing the number of total conversations conducted by a care team and the number of publications from that team

After completion of a consultation request, the professional using AyourP can, with one click, transform the request into a publication, define as a publicly accessible, confidentiality-proof, Q&A-looking article for other patients to learn from while searching for health information on Google and on the AyourP internal search engine.

Professional's teams with a publication rate greater than 50% will see the number of “paid questions” increase in proportion to the publication rate in the “Opportunities” section.

Each team member can see, from his profile, the proportion of responses made public.

At the time of the launch of this feature, more than 13,500 publications had been produced by care teams and 31% of these teams had a publication rate of more than 50%.

3. Regular responses represent the number of consecutive days of new responses to non-paid questions issued by a team

Every day, dozens of consultation requests are made available to all care teams using AyourP.

Teams accepting at least one non-paid question per day for more than 5 consecutive days will see the number of "Paid Questions" increase in proportion to the number of consecutive days with at least one response to non-paid questions in the "Opportunities" section.

At the time of launching this feature, 5% of the care teams had responded to at least one consultation request every day in the last 5 days.

4. Reach of publications represents the number of unique patients who have consulted any of the team's publications

Once the consultation request has been converted into a publication, it is automatically indexed in the internal search engine and within Google's search engine. This allows the team to reach more patients with a single intervention.

The reach of a care team, defined by the number of unique patients consulting one or the other of its publications, thus increases naturally thanks to these indexations. Each team has access to its reach through its interface:

Teams can nevertheless increase their reach by 1) sharing their publications with more patients, especially on social media; 2) increasing their absolute quantity of publications.

Teams reaching a range greater than 1000 single patients per week will see the number of "Paid Questions" increased in proportion to the weekly reach in the "Opportunities" section.

At the time of the launch of this feature, 3% of professional's teams had a reach of more than 1000 unique patients per week.

Availability of “Paid Questions”

Even when it has just begun using AyourP to connect with potential clients, a new care team has access to a minimum rate of “paid questions” of the order of one (1) paid question out of twenty (20) opportunities.

Teams meeting the performance criteria mentioned here will see this number increase to four (4) paid questions out of twenty (20) opportunities.

Identifying “Paid Questions”

In the “Opportunities” section, paid questions for a given team of professionals will display the “$” sign, as shown below:

In the vast majority of cases, a consultation request becomes a "paid question" for several teams simultaneously.

A team of professionals not visiting the “Opportunities” section of the platform during a given day could therefore miss all the “Paid Questions” of that day.

Payment of “Paid Questions”

Each "Paid Question" is attached to a $5 fee, which can be cashed by the team upon reaching an accumulated minimum of $100.

This payment is made to the team, not to the professionals who make up the team. AyourP leaves it to the teams to make agreements for the distribution of fees internally, if necessary.
